We will have a Congregational Update between services this Sunday at 10:15, which will include brief financial/budget information. Summer Intern Offering
We are so grateful for our three summer interns, Zach Nelson, Jireh Volmar, and Madigan Lawlor, who participated in youth mission trips, led children’s ministry, and ministered alongside the pastors. For the next few weeks, we’ll be taking an offering for these summer interns who have served well and faithfully. These funds will be put toward their continuing ministry education. You can designate your giving online, or put “Intern Offering” in the memo portion of your check.
Aug 3 | T4M & KAMP Meeting
Our next T4M meeting is Sunday, August 3, where we’ll have a video call with the Duartes in Uruguay. We’ll also launch our KAMP (Kids and Missions Partnership) program during T4M.
Aug 17 | Choir Resumes
The PBC Worship Choir resumes on Sunday, August 17 at 5 pm in the Choir Room. We’ll dive into new music for our worship services and Christmas. There’s room for you to join us! Please reach out to Pastor Chuck with any questions.
Sept 19-20 | Discipleship Mini-Conference
Explore Christ’s command for all believers to make disciples—and what that looks like in our everyday lives. This event will feature Marty Sweeney, Executive Director of North America for Matthias Media, an evangelical publishing ministry known for producing theologically rich and practical disciple-making resources such as The Trellis and the Vine and Two Ways to Live. With a deep commitment to equipping believers for Christ’s mission, Marty will help us consider how we can faithfully live out the call to make disciples. Click the image to register!
Families Ministry Equip Class | NEW STUDY!
Sometimes parents wish there was a guaranteed formula for raising good kids—a certain list of rules to follow to ensure they’d have obedient children. But if moms and dads view their role through the lens of God’s grace, they will see that the gospel must first shape how they parent before they can effectively shape their children.
In the bestselling book Parenting, Paul David Tripp unfolds a more biblical perspective on parenting than merely adhering to a list of rules. He lays out 14 gospel-centered principles that will radically change the way parents think about what it means to raise up a child, informing everything they do as a parent.
BEGINS THIS SUNDAY!
New Equip Study!
Beginning this Sunday, June 27, the Equip Elective Class led by Bruce Meyer and Alan Benson will start a new series in the book of Mark entitled “Marked by Mission: Discipleship in Motion.” If you haven’t yet plugged into an Equip class, we invite you to join us during the 2nd Equip Hour at 10:45 AM, Room 202.
Whether you’re a ministry leader, counselor, discipler, or simply want to grow in your own walk with Christ, you encounter real struggles in life—sin, suffering, and everything in between.
ACBC Fundamentals Training is designed to equip Christians with the confidence and tools to care for others biblically. Through this course, you’ll grow in your understanding of how God brings lasting hope and change through His Word, His Spirit, and His Church.
The training will be weekly on Monday nights from Sept. 8th to Nov. 24th, 6:00 pm-8:30pm @ PBC. All sessions will be recorded or available via zoom for those unable to attend in person.
Cost for PBC Members is $75/individual or $125/couple. Childcare will be available. If you have questions about this training please contact Paul Christensen.
Footsteps of Paul – Biblical Tour: May 2026
Pastor Sam and Pastor Ben will lead an unforgettable journey through the lands of the New Testament on our upcoming Footsteps of Paul tour, taking place May 13–23, 2026.
This Bible-centered tour will bring Scripture to life as we explore some of the most significant locations in the Apostle Paul’s missionary journeys. We will visit Ephesus, Athens, Corinth, Thessalonica, Rome, and more.
This is more than a sightseeing trip—it’s a spiritually enriching experience that will deepen your understanding of God’s Word and His work through the early Church.
We will have an informational meeting in room 204 between the services on July 13th and August 3rd.
Space is limited! For more details and to reserve your spot, visit the TOUR WEBSITE. Contact Pastor Ben for questions.
