November 14 E-news
Sunday, November 16
Worship Service | 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM – Click HERE for livestream.
Jesus told his disciples that eternal life would be like going through a narrow gate and traveling on a hard road that leads to life. The word Jesus used for “hard” is a word that means painful or agonizing. Jesus spoke plainly that the Christian life will often be painful in this world. Peter and James confirm the truth of Jesus words in the letters they wrote to the churches. Paul also speaks of the reality of pain and suffering in this life but he adds something unusual – the suffering and pain we encounter is the means God uses to bring about great joy in our lives as He matures us and grows us through the school of suffering. Join us this Sunday as Paul teaches us how joy-producing suffering reveals the truth about our faith to ourselves and to others.
