OUR SPEAKER
Christine Chappell is a certified biblical counselor and host of the Hope + Help Podcast for the Institute for Biblical Counseling & Discipleship. She is the author of Midnight Mercies: Walking with God through Depression in Motherhood, as well as several mini-books, including Postpartum Depression: Hope for a Hard Season, and Help! I’ve Been Diagnosed with a Mental Disorder.
She currently serves as a council member for the Biblical Counseling Coalition, and is a regular speaker at women’s events and conferences. Christine lives in South Carolina with her husband and three children, and is a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Easley. Connect with her at christinemchappell.com
T4M and KAMP – October 5
Ken and Clara Bixby and Sarah Garrett will give a presentation of their summer trip to Zambia to minister at Central Africa Baptist University and Faith Children’s Village.
K5–5th grade will have Kids KAMP, and child care will be available for infant–4yrs.
From 5–5:30PM the adults and kids will pack Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes together.
Choir Practice | Sundays @ 5 PM
Choir practice resumes this Sunday with a focus on our Christmas Program music. Enjoyed last year’s event? Participate in this year’s program and experience it firsthand! We practice each Sunday at 5-6 PM, except the first Sunday of each month. Reach out to Chuck Traylor with any questions.

ESL PROGRAM—NURSERY HELP NEEDED!
Tuesdays, 6:45-8 PM @ PBC
(No Spanish language skills required)
The “ESL” (English as a Second Language) Program is an opportunity for individuals and families from all nations to grow in both English language skills and meaningful community. Rooted in the love of Christ, we offer beginner to advanced ESL classes that not only build confidence in communication but also foster friendship, faith, and belonging. If you are looking for a way to serve our community, ESL is looking to fill specific volunteer roles. Reach out to Phil Beardslee at 864-504-0208 if interested.
