PBC   -

Sunday, March 1

This past Wednesday, the ordination council met to examine Garrett Martin, our Pastor for Student Ministries, and voted to affirm his readiness for gospel ministry. We are grateful for the Lord’s work in his life and the faithfulness evident in his calling and character. During the first service on Sunday, we will lay hands on Garrett and pray over him, asking the Lord to continue strengthening and using him for His glory.

Worship Service | 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM – Click HERE for livestream.

The amazing grace of the gospel is intended to produce radical change in every area of a believer’s life. We know this in our heads and even want it in our hearts. The problem arises when the power of the gospel begins to cut against long-established habits and patterns we have grown comfortable with and accustomed to as we do life. When the cost of some of those changes becomes apparent, we often pause and wonder whether another way is open that is not so radical, painful, or costly. Paul addresses this question head-on in Romans 6:1-15. Join us this Sunday as we listen to Paul’s answer and come to understand that “Freedom from Bondage comes with a Cost.”
