Come with a prepared heart as we reflect together on Christ’s sacrificial love displayed at the cross, the weight and wonder of His death on our behalf, and anticipate the joy of Resurrection Sunday. Announcements
Honoring Stan Williamson
After 33 years of faithful service at Welcome Baptist Church and, more recently, Palmetto Baptist Church, Stan Williamson is retiring from his role as Facilities Manager. For decades, Stan has served the Lord and his church family with humility and diligence. His behind the scenes work has played a vital role in making ministry possible week in and week out.
As a church family, we want to take time to celebrate and thank God for Stan’s faithful service.
Reception & Fellowship
All are invited on Wednesday, April 8th, at 3:00 PM for a relaxed time of fellowship as we honor Stan during the Wednesday afternoon Bible Study. Please bring a dessert to share.
Sunday Recognition
We will also recognize and honor Stan during our morning service on Sunday, April 12th, giving thanks to the Lord for his years of faithful ministry. We hope you will join us in celebrating Stan and expressing our gratitude for the many ways he has served our church so well.
Help Needed: Heat and A/C Management
We’re looking for volunteers to assist with weekly climate control management in both buildings. Specifics of this task include:
- Operating the thermostats in the Gym/Fellowship Hall building.
- Operating the boiler and chiller in the main building (hands-on and video training will be provided).
- Help with minor maintenance to the heating and air conditioning in each building.

April 12 | T4M Lunch and Meeting
We’re excited to have Jeff Davis share with us at our next meeting! Jeff is the director of EMU International in Taylors, SC, which focuses on evangelism, church planting, and training nationals to continue this gospel work.

Mar 29 | New Equip Study
On Sunday, March 29, Bruce Meyer and Alan Benson will begin a new study in the Fellowship Hall @ 10:45 AM. In this study by Gregory Koukl, you’ll learn how to:
- Initiate conversations effortlessly
- Present the truth clearly, cleverly, and persuasively
- Graciously and effectively expose faulty thinking
- Skillfully manage the details of dialogue
- Maintain an engaging, disarming style even under attack
Apr 24-26 | Women’s Prayer Retreat
