How should our heart respond to the immense benefit we receive having the assurance that we truly are the sons and daughters of God? Paul answers this question in very bold and shocking words – such people have a holy obligation to mortify the deeds of their flesh. However, this is easier said and read than actually done. Join us on Sunday as we discover how God has enabled us to meet this holy obligation successfully, consistently, and joyfully!

Wisdom For a Digital Age
Wednesdays at 7PM from June 10-July 1
This four-week Summer Series is designed to help us understand how technology is shaping us and how to live wisely in a culture saturated with screens, information, and constant connectivity. Wednesdays at 7 PM from June 10-July 1, all youth and adults are encouraged to join us each Wednesday evening as we explore what it means to follow Christ faithfully in the Digital Age. Childcare available. Refreshments served each evening.
Preschool & Elementary “Kid Olympics”
Each week during this Summer Series we’ll have “Kid Olympics,” a fun program for all preschool and elementary ages. Invite your friends!
June 14 | Baptism Class

June 14 | PBC 102 Begins
Learn about the theology of service within the local body of believers in this 3-week Equip class led by Ken Bixby. PBC 101 not required to attend.
June 24 | Fiesta Fundraiser Dinner
The Youth Group will host a Mexican-themed dinner and silent auction to raise funds for their Mission Trip to Minneapolis in July. We’ll be serving beef tacos, sides, and a drink. Enjoy dinner out and support our Youth! Purchase your meal ticket below before July 21.
Date: Wedesday, June 24 (before “Technology” session)
Time: 6PM (silent auction from 6:40-6:45)
Location: PBC Fellowship Hall
Cost: $13 per adult, $7 per child ($40 max)

Host Homes Needed for Summer Intern
We’re looking for host homes for one of our male summer interns this year from May 26-August 4. This could be as simple as opening up a spare bedroom for a week or two, or even allowing him to house-sit while you’re away on vacation.
If you’re able to serve in this way, you would be a great encouragement and support during his time with us. If you’re interested or would like more information, please reach out to Garrett at gmartin@pbcpowdersville.org—we’d love to connect with you.
June 14 & 28 | Homeschool Co-op Info Meetings
If you’d like to learn more about the Homeschool Co-op that takes place each Friday morning during the school year, we invite you to attend this info meeting on either June 14 or 28. Contact Chris West for more details!
July 5 | Combined Service
We will have ONE worship service on Sunday, July 5 at 10AM, with no Equip classes. We’re excited to have our Hispanic congregation join us for this combined service! Come at 9AM for a donut and coffee fellowship, followed by worship at 10AM.

We’re excited to once again host this year’s Law Enforcement Conference at PBC! There are TWO date options for this conference:
