August 9 | Congregational Vote
At our Quarterly Update on July 19, Pastor Sam presented information regarding a possible new land purchase that will enable us to expand our use of the Welcome Campus to accommodate growth and ministry opportunities. We also held a second presentation on July 26 between services. For those who missed the meeting, you can view the video HERE.
We have scheduled three Q&A sessions, and the remaining opportunities are listed below. We strongly encourage you to attend one if you have any questions, as we do not plan to open the floor for discussion during the vote on August 9.

New Worship Music!
One of our members, Paul Zimmer, has written many wonderful songs in recent months, and we’re excited to introduce one of them to our congregation on Sunday, August 16!

New Hope Group: Men of Integrity
Mondays beginning September 14, we are launching our first Hope Group, called Men of Integrity. The focus of this group is to help men struggling with lust, sexual sins, and temptations. This 13-week class will take place at the church campus.
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! Cost is $25 for materials. Scholarships are available. Please email Paul Christensen with any questions.
August 2 | T4M + KAMP
Our Together For Missions lunch and meeting will resume the first Sunday in August after the worship service. Join us for lunch at 12:15 PM in the Fellowship Hall, followed by our meeting in the auditorium at 1 PM. Kids KAMP (Kids and Ministry Partnership) will meet downstairs during the meeting.
MENU: BBQ Chicken Sandwiches, Chips, Pasta Salad, Ice Cream Bars
COST: $5/person or $15/family. (No RSVP needed – please pay at the door)
We’ll be sharing a vision and recruiting for the fall outreach initiatives through ESL, Cultivate Sports, OCC (Operation Christmas Child), Release Time Bible Class, and our school initiatives. We encourage you to bring packaged breakfast items for the Carolina Closet (breakfast bars, etc.).
Please consider joining us on Saturday, August 8th at 9AM for a prayer walk through our area schools!
August 15 | PBC Families Picnic
Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 15, from 10AM–2PM for food, fun, and fellowship hosted by the Families Ministry of PBC!
Enjoy games on the fields, water balloons, a water slide, and lunch in the Fellowship Hall.
Who: Families with kids of all ages
Bring: Camping chairs and towels
We’ll provide: Subs, chips, cookies, & drinks
