August 7 E-News
Sunday, August 9
More than 400 years ago a Puritan pastor/theologian named William Perkins wrote an entire book on the five most important words in Romans that are all found in our text this week – Romans 8:29.
He called his book, “Amarilla Áurea” or “A Golden Chain” because he wanted his readers to understand that the salvation they had received from God was fashioned by His hand through five irrevocable actions He undertook in their behalf and forged into an unbreakable chain of marvelous beauty and immeasurable value.
Join us this Sunday as we look at the links that make up our glorious, unbreakable salvation.
Text: Romans 8:29-39
Sam Horn
Pastor for Preaching and Vision
